last night was probably one of my more harrowing ones.
whilst writing bailus testimonial and editing mine, my microsoft word suddenly started hanging, so i task-manager-forced it to close, thinking that i'll just open the previously saved copy and add in that one last sentence that makes everything perfect.
except, when i reopened it, it was not the previously saved version. no, it was not even any of my saved versions. everything after the sentence i was editing was completely wiped out, so all that was left of my 5
perfectly written, perfectly edited testimonials was majority of my self-testimonial.
yes, i was devastated. and angry.
after spending some time trying to recover it, but knowing it highly impossible considering the version i had now did not resemble any versions i previously saved, i redid the
entire thing.and then sent it out as soon as i finished with it.

my sister has kindly informed me that the sweet plot of land rgs sits on is worth 2 billion dollars. and is about to be sold to some condo developer or something.
not surprising. with the prices ardmore park fetch, ill pay 2 bill to build a condo on rgs land too. too bad we dont own our own land like hwach does, or we'll be quite rich soon.
i wonder where the new rgs is designated to be though. i sincerely hope its at least larger than our current plot. but i guess i have to agree, a school doesnt really need to be on such good land, we just need to keep our teachers, our students and our own spirit.
which i hope we still would, even with the proximity to our brother schools. it would be a pity if we took this proximity and shared facilities to mean a shared school spirit and system. no doubt, we are all rafflesians, but being an rgs is still miles away from being an ri boy. or even an ri girl. ask anyone.
